Indeed. The front cage is simples, but there was no way I was taking the rear cage back out. I remember only too well the grief of trying to get it in in the first place

My daughter says it looked like a cow (and that is from an 18 yr old A level student), but then it goes back to black including the inside now as well!
Has also cost me a new fibreglass bonnet as the old one turned out to be a bit worse for wear and not good enough for a quality finish!
Really starting to wonder whether I will be able to bring myself to take it out and get mucky!

Unfortunately it came back before I had finished the decorating and other DIY jobs, but hope to be starting on putting it all back together in the next week or so.
Must confess to being a bit scared of scratching it and think will need more new parts as will not be able to put rusty mucky bits on to this very shiny shell.
Will try and keep the posts more regular!

DIY and summer hols seemed to get in the way until a couple of weeks ago when we fitted the fibreglass boot lid complete with late type seal and new boot lock. Although I haven't got a metal booted mini to hand to compare fit. I must say I am quite impressed with this boot lid.
And this one demonstrates it is hard to take a photo without a reflection!
