Your'e probably going to want to mask off your dash - clock - steering, shifter a whole lot better than what it is now - Overspray goes EVERYWHERE> including the headliner!

did a bit on the doors today. Ive fit new doorskins and the edges are a little "pie crusty" due to use of the skinning tool. Ive cleaned the paint off, planished the high spots down, and put skin of filler on. if we get a good day tomorrow I can get them finished and high builded. slow and steady :)

Looks like you're making good progress there. What skinning tool did you use if you don't mind me asking?

Perfect day for painting today. roof poly disced back to bare metal ( 2 coats of paint and primer ) fortunately very little rust. acid etch primed and 3 good coats of high build. looked like the bloody incredible hulk after rubbing down, but on a serious note you can see the importnce of googles and mask LOL

Also with the high build do use the manufactures flash time between coat then block back before the colour?
Hopefully i'll be getting to do the van in primer sooner rather than later and trying to gauge techniques.
Cheers

Ive just gauged the flash time with when it looks dry. If Ive been painting in the evening it can take 15 minutes. In the sun Ive had to add extra thinner and its been flashing off within 5 minutes. Ive been blessed with this weather :))
