Just a quick update for those watching!  Simon is slowly coming together.

 

So we will make it to IMM in just over 2 weeks time, just the interior to finish, some other bits and pieces then MOT time.

 

Had a problem getting a decent Drivers side calliper working,  had about 3-4 complete pairs of 8.4 callipers but yet couldnt get a decent one for the drivers side so have ended up buying another pair of the forum.

 

Also after the test driver we've found the steering rack to be fubar(car orginally came in boxes and had no way of testing before fitting) So off to mini spares tomorrow for a new rack.

 

Also need a new park switch for the wiper motor and new washer jets as the standard D shape ones dont fit.

Well that's it, Simon is ready for his mot, just need to find the time tomorrow to try and book it in while the hubby is working in Harrogate.

As of typing this here Simon is now on his way for a MOT, my brother in law has took him down, fingers crossed

Well Simon had a run out today to the test station for his Mot, the guy commented on how well of a job the car has been done that he didn't want to look round it no more as he seen that everything is all new on it, he did try and look for rust spots underneath but there wasn't one.

Simon is now officially on the road and ready for IMM woop woop

The relief and stress has be done and managed to get an early finish on him.
