Nice to see the oversill gone!

Show the real damage of over sills really.  The inner sill where mostly ok except here the over sills where welded on and touched the lower body work.

More work to do tomorrow as in to fit rear valance and sill, remove front end to put on properly.

After another weekend in the garage Simon is now solid. Boot floor, sills inner and outer all solid and repairs to both flitch panels bottoms . He has had a rub down underneath with two coats of primer and three coats of stone chip. Time to get him the right side up and remove the front . two new wings sanded back and etch primed ready to go on. Only welding left is a small patch under on of the back side window.
Hopefully this week the paint will be on order and and a trip to mini supplier for a long list of bits, but in the mean time a refurb of the doors will be started hopefully. Enjoy the pictures. He's a little happier .

Hey guys it's been awhile, they have actually managed to get into the garage and get on with some painting Simons engine bay, inside the car and boot area. Also the out side has also being prep'd ready for primer. Adding a quick picture but it doesn't do it justice The name of the paint is midnight blue with black sparked But the roof will be a different colour. Not to be announced as of yet Hehe

Well today is the day that Simons roof gets painted and I can't wait to see the results when it's done.

Well I wasn't going to post a picture of the mini roof that's been painted, kinda wanted to wait till the whole car has been done for the full effect .... but my other half has been badgering me to get a pic on for you all to see, he's a pain in the rear but oh well, so anyways here's some pictures

It's looks better in person than actually on a photo, just want the rest of the car done now and now my husbands mini has passed its mot I want mine to be up and running now lol.... :)

thank you.  hopefully by the end of the week we will have the rest in primer ready for basecoat  but things could change,   all  fun so far
