Totally love that original colour. Although the new grey is too nice!

Cheers,

Looks really good. I'm going with hurricane grey a bit darker than this. Cannot wait to see this finished

Love your Clubby mate, the resemblance to mine colour wise is phenomenal, condition wise on the other hand is an entirely different story. Mine is Mirage Grey (BLVC11) and OEW

Mega slow progress as it's been too cold to get out in the garage, but hopefully mild weather means I'll get moving now.

Rear subframe build up is first major job.  In the meantime, a small job to tidy up the rear brake pressure equalisation valve..

Small progress is still progress :)

Looks lovely, nothing better than getting the shell painted and ready for the rebuild!

A little more time freed up of late and a bit more enthusiasm to go out to a garage that is not freezing.  So, I'm starting to make a small amount of progress - mainly in the planning.  First job is going to be to build up the rear subframe and get it installed so that I can move the car around more easily and, importantly, measure the poke so I can decide on the arches I'm going to fit - and get them sprayed before the painter forgets where he put the left over tin of Tweed Grey!

So, here is the subframe, relaxing in the sun:

The subframe was build up and on the car when I got it, but the bits were obviously removed when it was powder-coated, so I have started to dig them out and clean/touch-up where required.  Here's some random photos of one of the swing arms and associated parts:
