Last night i 2k matt blacked the roof. Today im going to get her out in the sunshine and flat the body ready for paint tonight hopefully :) plenty of crap cought in the water trap too.

Today out in the sun shine some before shot and after shots to follow next week still gotta flat it back ready for top coats.

Well i managed to get a few dusty hours on miffy tonight and shes now ready for paint tomorrow. Just need to clean garage and car then panel wipe down and re tape some masking then ready to rock n roll. Wish me luck.

Tonight the paint went on.happy with the results so far. Hand as my next-door neighbour popped over and gave some great tips and practical lesson on how best to apply the paint (he used to work for a vw classic company) his airbrush works also amazing. Tonight a tack coat and one main coat went on. Ran out of time so tomorrow flat back some small runs then scotch the whole car then apply top coat. Theb a tack voat of clear coat then top coat of clear coat then boom done.

Tonight i flatted back some runs then scotch padded the whole car then tac ragged it. Applied one final coat of green then two clear coats.

Yes very pleased and its my first whole car re paint. Tonght i managed to fit the new bumpers and arches looking so much better already. Now shes getting back together.

lovely colour! it looks like VW anthracite grey.. what colour is it??

Its nato green matt finish the clear coated in 2k matt.
