Its nato green matt finish the clear coated in 2k matt.

Had a good hit tonight all the back and front are done. Door mirrors on Roofrack on and tyre ontop with elasticated net. Jobs left to do are rooflining windows and door seals and door furniture glass and trim. Then m.o.t time :)

Rooflining in all door and glass seals front n rear screen both side windows. All in 2 hrs today. To ight im on the doors already stripped drivers totally ready to re assemble later.

Managed to get both doors done tonight just the door furniture to fit on the inside.(need to buy a set) but looking good and all weathered up. Slam panel items to fit and i.c.e then a good clean and mot.

Was Hesitating on doing my second mini with satin finish, not anymore! It's brilliant! (in a matt way) 👍

Ye when just nato painted on it dried a really good matt. But with the 2k (matt) applied it has a slight sheen. But im happy with the overall result.

Had a couple of runs in the clear laquer that were bugging me so tonight i flatted them back then touched them back in with a thinner mix of laquer to blend it better. Happy with the results.

Loving the idea of the Matt finish. My only problem is keeping it clean as you can't really polish it or it will become shiny.

You beat me to the next one of if you get runs in it you can't flat and mop it out like shiny paint jobs.

Has it blended in ok ?

Finally cracking job and can't wait to have a really look at it at shows

Thanks for the comments it looks to have blended well but only natural ligh will tell. But as tge type of look and stance this mini ide rather a slight difference in finish that the runs that were there. As for cleaning just a quick wash is all itll need and in time would lend its self to the rat look i think. Once finished it will be for sale as i did this one to fund project eko as hes now having a honda b16 put in by my self
