The underneath really does look good with a splash of laquer!
What brand did you go over it with?

I just used some upol system 20 crystal clear. Went on well and didn’t have any reaction problems or anything ( seems really tough too ) so going off my results I would recommend. Plus it was only like £23 for 1.5L
Thanks very much, I appreciate that, will do the same i think in the coming weeks!

Hope you guys had a good Christmas / New year
small update, just some prep and primer
I have had some issues with condensation recently so have got a cover just for extra protection when I'm not working on the mini
upcoming plan next weekend is to get the inside lower floor stone chipped and the cross member top coated. i also want to get the engine bay stripped back to bare metal, primed and painted ( lets see I I get on ) once this is done I can finally put the subframes back In and get it rolling !

I run an old desk fan on a timer at the back of my plastic roofed garage extension, the condensation problem went away

I have done what you have, and amazingly seems to have done the trick ! crazy how just air circulation has helped.
thanks for the tip
