The underneath really does look good with a splash of laquer!

What brand did you go over it with?

I just used some upol system 20 crystal clear. Went on well and didn’t have any reaction problems or anything ( seems really tough too ) so going off my results I would recommend. Plus it was only like £23 for 1.5L

I have had some issues with condensation recently so have got a cover just for extra protection when I'm not working on the mini

upcoming plan next weekend is to get the inside lower floor stone chipped and the cross member top coated. i also want to get the engine bay stripped back to bare metal, primed and painted ( lets see I I get on ) once this is done I can finally put the subframes back In and get it rolling !

I'm having a similar condensation issue in my tent and have also taken to using a car cover when I'm not working on the Mini. I'm going to try covering the floor (stone paving) with visqueen and OSB boards, maybe even PVC garage floor tiles on top to see if it helps. I've plenty of ventilation yet the condensation on the inside of the roof is pretty bad.

I run an old desk fan on a timer at the back of my plastic roofed garage extension, the condensation problem went away :proud:

I have done what you have, and amazingly seems to have done the trick ! crazy how just air circulation has helped.

Unfortunately progress has been zero on the mini at the moment, I’m in the process of buying a house and that has just taken priority.

I have managed to get a little time after work this week so I finished off the cross member and stone chipped the rest of the floor

Not sure if that link will work for the picture I dropped my laptop recently so am doing it from my phone. Does anyone know how to copy the pictures link like you do on the website but on the app?

Thanks bud!

It does not.....but on bright side it does have more than enough space for one so that will be my summer project if things go well with the mini build that is haha
