something I forgot to show was the organising of the parts I removed. Now from experience I can't stress this enough, I really try to keep things as well boxed and labelled as I can because when I come back to fitting all these parts its usually months after. And I always think at the time that I will just remember, but you never do haha

This 100% on the money and imperative advice.

I have fallen foul of not following it.

"Oh, I'll remember. I'll just take a few photos."

You don't remember, and you always miss the exact spot you need in the photo.

Little notes inside boxes or bags detailing position and order of parts is also very useful.

Sandwich bags with the white square on and a sharpy is handy too, as you can bag up bolts and write a reminder to yourself eg: “long bolts at the bottom of housing”

I had a mate that used to just launch it all in a big box and swore he would remeber......he never reassembled any of his project cars......ever lol.

knocked off early today, so thought I would spend a couple of hours on the car. 

 

managed to get one of the weight spreader plates welded in 

 

 

measure up

more progress stripping the shell ready for the roller jig to be fitted 

 

 

finished off removing the scuttle

been hard at work on the Mini today and I feel like I might finally be getting somewhere now haha

 

first thing of the day was taking delivery of the roller jig

was very hard getting the car up to the height required, but I managed it in the end with the use of jacks and quite a lot of wood. once bolted together though I was left with a fully spinning shell

Good efforts mate! My rollover is still sat in the shed in bits. Could you do me a favour and messure the hight of the roof when its the right way up on the jig. Im not convinced mine will clear in the current garage ?‍♂️
