It is carbon, sort of! It'll be carbon and several layers of FG. I think someone weighed one on MF and found there to be no weight difference between a Curley CF flipfront and a FG one.

That's a bit sucky and a bit sneaky of them, I'd have words.

I was intending to get a fiberglass one anyway because I can't justify the cost of the cf one. So I think I'll still go with curley because they have the most original looking front end in my opinion.

I'm watching this thread closely :D.

Just got a car cover from mini spares looks good even has little bits that the wing mirrors sit in :P just read that it says don't cover new paint, guess untill its fully dry how long would that be 2 weeks?

Also got some other bits and bobs like headlamp seals and rear lamp seals and check strap seals little things add up don't they already paid my TMF+ membership couple of times over with only the discount from mini spares

Will get some more pic's up when i get a chance to go down.

Hope i will get to the ring this year already had to pull out of one trip because thec car was not finished :P , been looking for some of the seal/trim stuff that goes round wheel archers.

did some more robbing down yesterday and Dave let me in the spray booth when we were doning the roof and cage, which are now very shiny panther black :( which has a faint blue flick to it when the sun shines on it :dontgetit:

Seen my red in the tin and it looks so good cant wait to see it on the car wich should be done in about a week then we can start building it back up :dontgetit:

Got some pics of me and dave in umperlumpa suits when we were in the oven which i will put up when i can
