i have a problem but 1st the storie of how this new problem came to be,
well my brakes have gone south once more. i tryed to bleed them (being the mad sort of person i am) after changing a brake cylinder and the brakes being a bit spongey. so i started to un-do the bleed nipple but it would not budge. i grunted and bitched at it then decided "oh sod it" and when to get a new cylinder. got the new cylinder. busted the old one off and began to fit the new one.........found out the threads were diffrent.....

so now i have the new problem. which is twofold.
1, are mini brake cylinders diffrent thread sizes or somthing? do i have a weird sized thread? beacuse a cylinder i bought a few weeks back fitted perfectly.
2, while lenny was bitching and moaning he mention about bleeding the brakes. he said that their a bugger (not his words. he used more swearing) beacuse you can't get that pressure sencor out (type 2 break master cylinder) so you get air stuck in there. is this true?!?! beacuse i think i'm going to end up bleeding the lot.
3, is there some trick to adjusting brakes. everytime i seem to do it, it go'd badly or the brakes bind up at certain points or i get scraping sounds coming from the drums.
so theres my storie and my question. oh its a 1982 Austin Mini HL. all drums.
cheers,
