I like smooth boot lids ... Normally! Some nasty looking minis have smooth boot lids but some sexy ones have them too

I think colour-coding the arches would be really difficult as the colour is a hard one to match (even spray cans of the actual colour aren't quite the same) and if it's a slightly different colour it will probably look pap

Roof also needs respraying at some point too, it has by far the worst paint on the car (all crazed and discoloured by bird poo), I think black roof & arches would give it a nice contrast ...

each to their own hon. its a personal thing really. the smooth look would go with a boody kitted mini really, not a standard mini. u know what i mean.Is that a no then?
lol

i'm thinking white roof and white mirrors to go with the wheels and arches.

Nah think that would be too much white. I think Lisas got it in one, black arches and roof. It will break up the wheels and bodywork.
Nice work Lisa

I used to have white wing mirrors & wheels but it just didn't quite look right. I think it's because it's a light colour, the contrast doesn't work.
I'm very tempted to do it now

P&L mini's has quite a good online colour thingy:
http://www.plmini.com/buildit.htm
thats a fun game, and make me think
and lisa
as this is about minty not that website
i think black would go good if the wheels went black to, but you have creamy white interior so creamy white mirrors and roof would look good in my opinion
but that just my opinion and its your minibeast

Cream overkilli think black would go good if the wheels went black to, but you have creamy white interior so creamy white mirrors and roof would look good in my opinion

I like the idea of breaking up the colours, from top to bottom it'll be:
Black (roof)
Cream (seats)
Green (body)
Black (arches)
Cream (wheels)
Bean did a Photoshop (page 23) or the car with black arches & roof, I think it looks quite good

Oh and the mirrors - as I said they have been white before and they looked rubbish

It was a long time ago and the car has changed alot since but I just don't think it works

But they're illegal without arches, they stick out too much...

...Otherwise I would! They do look sexy but they're just not legalGroup 2s fit them quite well, I don't think the arches will look too big
