Had some woman say the dumbest thing ever to me earlier today after her horse got startle be me, grinding. "Why bother to fix such an old car! You should just buy a new mini." I didn't even both to respond to this.

My Gran bought me a giant novelty pencil for Christmas. I'm not sure what to do with it now as it won't even fit in our lathe so I can't sharpen it.

Yay!!! More ebay idiots to deal with. Someone is claiming their parcel hasn't arrived yet according to the courier it was delivered over 2 weeks ago. This is going to be fun to deal with ebay. :-l

Was the item signed for? Either way, why do people feel this behaviour is acceptable because the sale is through Ebay?

It wasn't signed for but I have a delivery note for it saying it was delivered. I have contacted the person on ebay and told them this. I have also made ebay aware of the problem including sending them the delivery note. If it has gone missing or was delivered to the wrong place then I will be claiming my money back from the courier as the item has cover on it.

Only problem with modern cars, especially diesels, is they cost a fortune when they do go wrong. I think 200k is the new 100k.

My old 306 turbo diesel passed the 200k mark recently. Still runs great and the original turbo is still producing factory spec boost. Great engines :-)
