gotta love an ebay bargain....they don't crop up too often. Nice to beat the hyper-flated ebay mini prices once in a while....

Indeed! I'm quite chuffed because I was so close to placing an order with mini-spares for a new PCB, at £60ish quid.

Yeah, I thought so....I took loads of pics as I went along with no real plan what to do with them at the time.....so I condensed the best pics down into a story book. Should be a good thing to have in the car at shows next year. :)

seeing as I can't work on the mini next best thing is to wade through the hundreds of restoration photos and create a photobook! Bringing back some memories....

Back to hospital - bandages removed, no driving 'til mid Jan and no stress on my thumb 'til mid Feb. That's the Mini formally in hibernation for winter then!

Major dilemma in the mini this morning. Just as the MaccieD woman hands me my coffee at the drive thru I realise the mini has no cup holder.....dammit

I actually did a similar thing - wedged it in a box of mini spares that I had in the back seat. Worked really well. I'm sure the missus would've obliged had she been with me....(with the coffee!)

My mate picked up a 94 sprite for £800, with mot and tax till next year, and only some bubbling below the OS headlamp, 24,000 miles and only one lady owner :)

A 94' Sprite and a 83 Sprite are two different beasts.

tracked down and spoke to the niece of my 1275gts first owner from 1970 today. The only story she had about the car is that her aunt learnt to drive in it, failed her test loads of times and only passed 'because she slept with the examiner! Happy Days! :)
