Idiot! The first thing they teach you on a motor vehicle course is how to raise a vehicle safely, box frames, subframes etc...

Surely if a garage has damaged your vehicle due to bad practices then you are entitled to claim against them.

It's one of two places. I shall try to get one of them to admit to it, but I'm not optimistic...

Why do garages whose owners have a good reputation regarding minis still employ monkeys with tolley jacks and no brains - new floor please

If the floor cracked it was rotten, and blame rover for putting lift pads on the floor pan.

Im listening to a 1969 Technics SU 3500 amp, albeit with a modern pre amp and DAC - sounds sublime, beats most modern stuff costing thousands for SQ... Old ways are sometimes better!

3 weeks without the car (and counting) and I'm not missing it, in fact life's less stressful. Must be the extra alcohol as I'm bussing it to work!!

I'm planning to get the train to college in liverpool, from rainhill. The traffic in Liverpool is a joke at rush hour, then I would need to pay for parking. It would be far cheaper, and less stressful if I got the train. On the downside it involves walking. :(
