3 floor pans one on top of the other? The POs of my Mini were damned lazy... Luckily the rot hasnt spread.

How many sill panels?

Just the one! The most recent PO was actually a really good welder and did a proper job replacing the sills. This repair seems to be the work of one of other 11 POs!

Anyone know how easy it is to remove a windscreen without damaging the rubber. Its only a few years old and is in good condition so I dont really want to waste it by chopping it with a stanley.

I've done it. All you need to do is take that centre trim out. Have someone on the inside, one on the outside. The person on the inside pushes with their palm in a top corner (pretty hard) and it will give. Done this a handful amount of times and had no issues.

I did it aswell, i did it on my own, the hard part for me was putting the centre trim back in.

Just pulled about 5 metres of wiring out of my loom that wasnt connected at either end. I also found about a dozen scotch locks and wrapped together bare wires under the electrical tape....

I found some scotch locks today too xD They were what was causing my engine to not turn off, so I reused them for something more useful.... haha

I hate scotch locks and electrical tape. Soldering and shrink wrap are what should be done! Wrapping looms should be done with non-adhesive tape too!

I'm planning on rewiring the engine bay all into one fusebox once I have the engine out. Will be done with solder joints and shrink wrap... and non adhesive tape :P hehe I don't mind electrical tape for little jobs, better than leaving it open.

It looks to be spilt brake fluid stripping the paint and exposing the metal. The garage poked big holes in it with a screwdriver. Its my fault really. I knew the metal was exposed but I never thought it was more than surface rust so I didnt try to repair it.
