mini's don't have to be unreliable. Mine does 300 miles a week and has only ever let me down once when the alternator died.

Amen, I've only had to do wheel bearings and a throttle cable in a year :)

time to invest in some Minifins for the rear drums, they look nice and it means my rears will be in line with the fronts, will I notice better handling?

It feels more understeery currently, the back over bumps seems to just skip and slide. Which I guess is normal.

have you got 13's on, cuase my old mini did that quite a bit. bit i think it is down to the fact the mini is so shot,it tends to pull the back around

12's ive got used to it now also having rubber mounted subframe dosen't help.

Just bent a dashpot on my HS2 twins. The stud on the manifold is too long and as I was tightening drilled into the dashpot, hopefully I can file is away and it the chamber to slide inside again. Not what I wanted!

Mini made a horrible screetching from front left, nasty grinding sound. Hopefully it was just a stone behind the gaurd, so so so noisy it was!

Worked on 2 Minis today and fixed a few problems, weather has been brilliant.
