Hate how my master brake cylinder leaks, so there is always a puddle of brake fluid around the cap on the cylinder. Destroyed my bulk head to be honest. Oh well.

Found the squeak under load to be the water pump, quick spray with WD40 and bingo.

Brakes pulling to the right tonight. They sounded rusty when I first go into the car. Hopefully will sort themselves out.

I would rather fit my Twin HS2's and remove my single HS4. I want it to pull like a train... for the amount of time I use top end power.

Hmm thinking about solid mounting the subfrae, but keeping the floor mounts rubber as I only changed them end of last year.

Keep the floor ones rubber, steel solid make it a much harsher ride

Something made me laugh today. Rebuilding my twin carbs and someone had ported the manifold. But! they had fitted standard gaskets over it to the ported manifold was useless!

My freeflow Manifold with single box 1.75" is not that noisy, compared to the same exhaust on a LCB manifold? why is that?

So I think because i have points my plug gaps are far too wide atm, might even be 35 thou. I think Ill keep them at 25.

New spark plugs! can change them now, the old ones were leaking as the washer had crushed to nothing. I wonder if I notice any difference, what do you reckon?

Going to stop worrying now! Yes my gearbox rattles but I have been reasured it will be ok since it was doing it since the box was restored. Anyway, time to fit these twin carbs :D

Any noise from the gearbox isn't really good, specially if its just been rebuilt. Hope it lasts and is ok!

It isn't massivly loud, just noticeable inside on idle, so much conversation about it on the forum.

Right, I need to stop thinking about this Mini rattle. It could go on for years! so far it is ruining my Mini and the fact I am about to spend money on twin carbs is mad but oh well.
