Was a complete randomer from the office, I work for the same company but in a separate office, and we share the car park. As soon as I got out he turned round and asked if I'd sell it! I replied with 'you wouldn't want it!' haha

Filled up the tank today and had some guy ask if I would sell on the forecourt. For most of them it's just wishful thinking - that you will part with a nice looking classic for scrap money because it's old!

Well.. I went out for a wet drive, to test the water tightness of my mini. Sure enough, although after it's welding it's muuuuuuuuch better than before, I still have some minor (about 3 mm deep in some areas, but I say minor because it's nothing compared to before) water coming into my passenger footwell, and some into my passenger rear bin too. On the whole, far better than before. Gonna get new door seals, hopefully sealed quarterlights or genuine opening seals, and reseal my wi...

I friend was going to do a temporary respray on mine for now.. but I might just sand bits of it back to clean metal and clear coat it. I'm thinking of doing the boot raw and parts of the bonnet..want headlamp grilles and a sun peak too.
