Been sold the wrong inlet manifold on eBay but he won't accept returns because him and his 'mini centre' are adamant it's off a mini :@

Hmmmm... 580 quid to spend on mini bits this month for when she's rebuilt... what should I buy first!?

I'd looked on google but hadn't seen that! So it can be done... I'm just a little worried about the depth of them as they're 5.25 inches deep, so that sounds a bit much for the conventional positioning on a mini :(

Well. America trip has fallen through - guess I may as well make light of it and go spend all the savings on mini stuff.

That's the plan. Just need to sort a garage to restore the mini. A mate has one near me but the roof leaks, not the best for a car already rusting lol

so that's the mini packed into the garage, 4 hours of insurance left before it's off the road. I've got until the end of march to find somewhere to work on it otherwise my dad's moving it out of the garage to sit on the drive and rot, after he's just sold my only alternative solution... :(

Well, found an old yard with two minis in it. Looked through the fence at one, looked scrap but interior was nice. Went to look through at the other......rottweilers. Everywhere. Safe to say I ran to my mini like a little girl.

Been away from home for just over two weeks so the mini's been sat in the garage. Was well surprised when the old girl fired up straight away!

For my 18th I'm going to scotland in the mini.. with 3 passengers, all of us with a weekends worth of gear, and there'll be two bikes too. Thank god for hi-los.. poor thing will be on it's arse!
