Think im going to buy the Lexus and use it as a daily, yes its a lexus is200, yes its underpowered for a straight 6. but it runs on gas and only costs 65p a litre!

If finances allow be getting my own place sometime this year. No more presents for the mini though. Although I have found a flat with a garage!

Gradually collecting the parts required before Mot. Another £70 spent

Exhaust and brake light changed on the fiesta for Mot, carb stripped down on mini, now it revs, distributor cap fixed securely, alternator belt tightened and colour tuned again. Good amount done today.

Good news! 6ft6 18 stone people can fit in a mini with no modifications! Although your head might hit the roof at every bump...

Decided against my plans for the Mini, keeping it pretty much standard and adding a stage 1, maybe some hi los.

Rush on one screen and shopping for mini parts on the other. Evening sorted!

Half of me wants to make my dream mini, the other wants to sell up and buy something more reliable/faster

New cars will cost more in garage bills and parts as you won't be able to do as much of the work yourself. Modern cars are bigger and not always more efficient so you will spend more on fuel and find it harder to find car spaces. If I had the skills and have been able to repair my mini fast enough to get it through its MOT I would have done. I would happily use one as a daily driver.
