Coming down with a cold 4 days before Bingley.. typical. I will beat this (or drink it away on Saturday). Quite sad that this will be Violets last public outing whilst she is having a bit of work done in readiness for L2B.

All the DVLA really need to know is the CC of the new engine. If there's no engine number, you can make one up and get it stamped on a plate, or stamped into the block. As long as there's a way of verifying that the engine listed is fitted to the car. But I'd just tell DVLA the new capacity.

I blew about £120 last time I was there but then I bought all the parts required to rebuild my brake system. The equivalent elsewhere was going to cost me about £200.
