A foreign truck flew past us on the other side of the road and i think something flew up and caused the bonnet to unhook and smash the screen. The wiper arms saved alot of the damage luckily! The scuttle is all torn and the wiper blades were bent in half. We managed to bend them almost flat to get us home :/ but the screens cracks are getting longer every time shes driven.

I think they scrapped the VOSA test. I believe you just take it for a MOT test. Could be wrong though.

I don't think so, IMO. The car will be worth much less than a non cat c car though, even if It's repaired to showroom standard. I know insurance companies have 'engine replacement' listed, but I don't know if it would alter the price. :/

My Dad got given an Arc welder and rods for free. Its addictive so I'll defo keep at it. Might have to invest in a mig welder though!
