I really shouldn't work on my mini... everytime I do, while some problems disappear, it seems like I'm creating new ones... Kudos to real mechanics, you guys are skilled.

New top bush on the steering column, new starter motor and solenoid, adjusted rear brakes/handbrake, fitted new Cobra Monaco seats and Newton Commercial carpets and just paid my tax. Back on the road and ready to enjoy some priceless mini moments.

Where should your gearbox earth go if you have no inner wings? Is the subby fine?

Ideally to somewhere on the main chassis of the car, not on the subframe.

subframes are normally rubber mounted. battery earth is to the body. Anywhere on the body

Looked at new MG3 yesterday. A lot of car for your money. Not sure if I'd be happy with a Chinese made car.
