we are not doing l2b this year, last year was too sitting in traffic. We love the show but don't enjoy getting there!! Sadly the MOT tester was ill so couldn't be done today :(

What's the gearbox common problem on the early BINI, 51 plate? Looking at one ATM, on Ebay. How much to fix. I can do the work myself, apart from anything internal to the gearbox.

It would be a bargain if It's just the release bearing. It would only cost around £100 to fix, and easy enough to diagnose.

The midland boxes on the one and coopers (prefacelift) are weak. The getrag ones are much stronger. I don't know exactly what breaks in them but its more of a case of when they break not if.
