Took the wheel off and there was a black line that matched where I thought it wanted moving to, do I'd guess that it was straight and that it's been moved before.

You can, but there's nothing to say that might be wrong. However, give it a go!

any tips on how to reduce the sound of the rad fan inside the cabin? (bar removing it!)

-
RossKnight
never ever have I heard the fan over the induction/exhaust/road noise

Aha same, even with a metal export fan I can only hear it when the bonnets open and i'm stood next to it.
Used Dynamat on my latests resto, makes a massive difference even when used sparingly

You're not going to make a night and day change as the later mini's come with a fair bit of sound proofing. I would suggest checking all your engine mounts and tie bar bushes are OK as the vibrations will travel through the body if they're perishing.

Its the cod bo3 bundle and getting assassins creed syndicate and need for speed. Is it necessary to have a ps+ membership on it
Feb 05 2016 02:25 PM -
Mike_Y
Yes you will require PSN+ to play online games but not for single player games. www.base.com currently have Assassin's Creed Syndicate for £18.99

Don't start a 2 stroke in your bedroom. It's like an 80's disco, with the smell of oil! :)

Google "Tesa Harness Tape" it's a cloth harness tape and works brilliantly.

Found some 'non'sticky stuff I'm going to try but yes that's what I used on my last mini but don't want that glue left over after 10 years of use... If you see what I mean...

Ah... the joys of business trips. If you get a long haul flight you effectively get free movies and booze all paid for by work.

Does anyone have a spare ticket for London to Brighton this year. Completely forgot to buy the ticket and seen they have sold out. If I don't have a ticket can I still tag onto the run, sorry for the stupid question, never done it before

-
Anthony30
Don't worry, a few tickets always end up being sold. Put a wanted advert on this Facebook page. 'The Official London to Brighton Mini Run'. You could always post a wanted advert on here. :)

It's obviously on a public road (A23), so 'tagging along' is absolutely no problem. What you won't be able to do, is assemble at the start, or drive onto Madeira Drive, the finish where ticket holders park up. But on the open road, you can join in the fun, no probs.

Does it matter what way the rc40 rear muffler mounts? Is there a correct front and rear to it?

-
Anthony30
Whatever way it falls onto the car then, I suppose. :)

The Center exit box has the shorter pipe to the front and the rear should be upswept.

The previous owner must have bought it used or chopped it off. the pipes coming out of there muffler are only about 2 in and all jagged on the edge.

So much for powdercoating, my powdercoated pressed steel front grill is already bleeding rust.

-
sledgehammer
Ive never been impressed with powder coat
when it chips the water sits behind it rusting

it has chipped though. I had the grill stripped, blasted, powder coated and then painted. but that still hasn't stopped it bleeding rust along all the edges and corners.
