That would be good, however had a chat with Dad & the jag he restored & sold is now going through a legal battle due to the salesman selling the buyer another car & wanting his deposit back from my Dad (however the modifications he's done to suit the buyer were more than the deposit) & his chevy is back in the garage for an engine rebuild as well as the corvette ss engine he building....so no room (or time) for the mini :(

Done this before, managed to just about get away with dropping it down and supporting it cleared the box section the wishbone bolts sit within, just locked the column to stop the clock spring spinning in the steering wheel, and un bbolted the pinch bolt at the bottom. Thought it was going to be a hell of a lot worse, think it's manageable in a mornings work on the floor. From what I've seen it's common that they rot out in the hollow section in the middle... Good luck!
