Mar 14 2015 03:57 PM -

I'm doing an MSc in BIM (3D construction) plus working full time and running around after my 1yr old. Suffice to say my GT isn't getting much love at the moment.

£400-£500 per year for me. The e46 330d would cost me around £1400 per year to insure. What a joke! :(

Wonderful, planned a trip out in the Mini today only to find the neighbour has tree cutters around blocking my access

They aren't legally allowed to block you in due to fire and medic access in an emergency.

They've only blocked my garage at the back of the house, the front is clear.

Does anyone else have something REALLY against automatics? Or is it just me? Even our Peugeout with it's 'Porsche' gearbox feels, although nice, smooth and very good, a bit like the driver isn't really driving. Anyone else feel like that?

If you're doing 25000 miles a year with work. Getting stuck in traffic and crawling along motorways - boring (sorry 9 speed auto) is good.

I can understand that. I would probably consider it if i was in that position but for now, i like the feel of a manual more

I have no choice with my next car as they're all autos, however as I'm now doing more long distance and town driving its damn useful to have!

Anyone know the thread size of the captive nut in the twin bolt front subframe tower? Need to order a tap to clean the powdercoat out!

I forgot to take my passport to the airport, whilst in Tenerife, coming home, one year. That was 'eventful'. :)

Aww. Not too bad. Any advisories? I didn't get to mine in the end. My mechanic who sorts it has fallen ill. I didn't complain.

Only slight play in a bush and a tyre wall a bit worn, which i already knew about. Replacing all tyres soon anyway

type 1 or 2? surely some sugar isn't that bad...
Mar 13 2015 07:22 AM -
M J W J
Type 1. everyone needs some sugar to survive but an excess (and most people have more than enough in their diet) will eventually lead to damaged blood vessels about everywhere in your body this can lead to (and there are reported cases) blindness, kidney damage, liver failure, and even having to have limbs amputated. I can give myself more insulin to compensate but it doesn't really do anyone any good to keep doing this.
Mar 13 2015 01:03 PM -
Vinay-RS
I know, I'm diabetic as well and yes blood sugar level control is essential to being healthy.

£50 a side though! And I'd prefer some 'settled' cones as I don't want to drive around with the front on stilts with a tractor stance for 3 months haha.
