Has anybody fitted Riley Elf Mk3 door pockets to their Mk3 onwards Minis? I'm thinking of using self tappers to attach them to the door cards

-
Will16
I havent but quite as few people have. Very easy to do though, and extra storage.

Aye, that's why I got mine :) plus they look cool as! I can't remember if they attach to the door itself or the door card. Guess I'm being too lazy to go in the cold, take off the cover and check lol

I may count them up if I ever sell the car. Must ensure it remains hidden from him indoors for the time being though

Put all the effort in replacing the head gasket and it leaks from the front of the block now.

-
TehMarchant
Did you torque up the bolts from the inside then move out?
Feb 10 2014 08:19 PM -
Rexdidacool

i shall make a list... ;)
1.Battery is draining even though the alternator is charging fine
2.struggling to start and doesn't start nicely
3.engine isn't running very smooth at the moment
4.blow in the manifold and the exhaust bracket has sheared
All this happened in the space of a week so i have a busy few weekends ahead of me... haha!

oh and
5. something is up with the gearbox, sometimes it gets stuck in reverse (when you reverse obviously) and the cross over from 1 & 2 to 3 & 4 is really stiff and sometimes gets stuck, very strange

advice to all: buy an RX8 - most fun ever - except mini, yeah it empties the bank for petrol but worth it

Rx7 will be bought one day.
Up the boost, make lots of horsepower and wait for it to blow up XD. No way around it they're not hugely reliable unless you get a Bridgeport engine!! They're good

Make sure you keep the oil topped up! They drink it faster than petrol!

My hand writting lets me down again. Got back to find my mum had underlined in red, an item on my to do list that is written on my white board. It said 'phone Guy about seats'. Instead it looked like 'phone Gay about sex'. Awkward...

You 'will' need them in the future if you intend to keep a classic car. Worth getting a better pair as the cheapo cheap ones are useless!!! You could always go in to a halfrauds and have a look at them though?
