Think im going to buy the Lexus and use it as a daily, yes its a lexus is200, yes its underpowered for a straight 6. but it runs on gas and only costs 65p a litre!

If you didn't know since it came back from the garage bob the cooper has been running really rough, to the point where at 2,000 revs it hold back, looses 10 mph, makes a sucky/blowy/scrape noise from the engine bay, backfires and goes again. And is rough as hell the rest of the time. At first I thort it was just either an ignition issue - damaged ht lead, or just from lack of use. Chatting to someone at work, worked it out its probably the timing belt, so the sucky noise was in fact air b...

AAh right, haven't got into looking into it, I was a little annoyed and took it strait round to him, but im hoping it could be something like vacuum hoses - corroded from being outside, but if its not, I will be ready to kill that garage, and if he dares to put up a fight when it comes to fixing it! :P

it was a sensor on the back of the engine he had clouted when he took it out, adjusted and now all good, runs nicely, one less issue :)

Has anybody fitted Riley Elf Mk3 door pockets to their Mk3 onwards Minis? I'm thinking of using self tappers to attach them to the door cards

Aye, that's why I got mine :) plus they look cool as! I can't remember if they attach to the door itself or the door card. Guess I'm being too lazy to go in the cold, take off the cover and check lol
