now the pickup is finished my clio cup 197 with 209bhp but trying to upgrade to a turbo to get 300hp ! that should stop the boredom of a finished mini

even without your aerial, the car will still get struck by lightning as its a steel box....but you will (in theory) be safe due to the faraday effect.

If its not reading the speed then i'm afraid you need to replace the entire cluster. I just had to do that to mine.

we've had a few in.. all needing new cluster units.. a couple for speedo and a couple for the fuel dial..
