Does anyone else's mini feel skittish whilst driving. Noticed for last few months when turning corners that steering is a lot lighter and skittish and scared if I sneeze, I could end up in a bush!

ok things to check steering rack bolts, tie bars, tyre presures, and if not sure go to a garage and get them to check it out

I used to clock up 42 miles a day when at college. I often drove the 72 miles between nottingham and my parents when I was at university.

Haha, considering it was only 30 miles, I was pretty worried. 72 miles is pretty good going!!

Surely all the rattles, clunks and transmission whine is all the sound you could possibly need for company? ;)

Geez, I got some tool on Ebay messaging me grief because I gave her a neutral feedback because the item was used when she said it was new.

Also you can report someone on ebay if they are harassing you over feedback left.

Im not an ebay ninja either, I bought a heater unit for my mini and when it came the back of it was broken off (obviously photographed to hide it as there were no 'bits' in the box or packaging!) I raised it with the Resolution Centre straigh t away who advised I contact the seller and he paid me back straight away - just had the annoyance of sending it back!

If people deliberately try to deceive people then they deserve neutral or negative feedback but sometimes genuine mistakes and problems do occur. As long as people deal with them in a professional manner (communicate and issue refunds where appropriate) then positive feedback should still be left in my opinion.

New cars will cost more in garage bills and parts as you won't be able to do as much of the work yourself. Modern cars are bigger and not always more efficient so you will spend more on fuel and find it harder to find car spaces. If I had the skills and have been able to repair my mini fast enough to get it through its MOT I would have done. I would happily use one as a daily driver.
