I think it depends on the car. Eg. if you put one on a sport pack or something they just look wrong. But I generally prefer the Mk1.

I like them on MK1's but not when you have a mk3 with one.

Never surprised when the press get it all mixed up - mind you the French are updating them - maybe its lost in translation?? Anyway, just heard he is critical - hope he pulls through OK, never my favourite F1 driver, but a helluva racer

More than likely not, it's £1200 for me and that's at 20 with o NCB and an accident within 12 months.
It's cheaper if you get a rarer car

Best off getting a 6n2 polo, horrifically cheap to buy these days and go on forever! Not to mention cheap to fix and insure

Replaced the step on the garage side door today. Tis a bit of a bodge but better than the rotten mess that was there!

It depends on the weight, I was going to order seats in the sale but postage was £40 so I just picked them up. Smaller stuff is £7.50 as someone above has said. I'm sure there's a page which tells you postage by weight, if I wasn't on my phone I'd link.

Probably easiest just to put it in the basket, and proceed with checkout and it'll tell you the total amount to pay.

People undervalue good pictures on their for sale adverts... Could be the nicest car in the world, but with grotty pictures, nobody will view it!

i agree.. it really annoys me when people put crappy pictures up on an ad.. how hard is it to show how a car looks without ruining it?!
Dec 29 2013 02:55 PM -
HarrysMini
And the people who only put 3 pictures up; the front, the side and the front from a different angle. Argh!

There's quite a few mini's up for sale for £3500+.. I don't understand how they can make a 3K+ car look worth £1000 haha! Even on this forum no less!

Why the heck would previous owner just tack in new floor pans and repair panels on top of the old ones? Making for a heck of a lot more work to remove it all.

Quick repair to make it look good before a sale, a very good and quicker way to increase the value of a car without doing a proper repair job :)

Given the ownership history and extent of cruddy repair patches, I think previous owner actually thought this was how to fix rust. Scary.
