Aye itll be properly degreased with gunk! No half arsed job :D Got to do it with the engine in the car though :/

far better with engine out so you can degrease and get into all the nooks and crannies . proper job.

It's doable in the car, assuming you're stripping manifolds and ancillaries off to get access. Thing is, you won't be able to wire wheel off the old paint as effectively to make the new coat last, but it should look good for a little while!
