My old engine was on 100k with no major rebuild and no gearbox work at all - its just down to luck how long they last!

My 86000 mile 998 was going strong until the bearing supporting the 1st motion shaft in the transfer casing collapsed.

Love these C-130s coming over at a few hundred feet at the bottom of the garden, couldn't believe how quickly they rolled from 45 degree bank.

Get that all the time were on the low flying route they practice on when they leave brize, had things fall of shelfs because the house shakes and they also have a habit of going over at 2 in the morning

Finally solved my juddering under braking. Rear front subframe mounts. One pretty much fell apart once it was out.

Just measured the wheelbase after making some adjustments, one side is exactly 2040mm as the Haynes says!! :D, However did I manage that? :D

All four wheels now cleaned front and rear, tyres shined, car fully waxed, chrome cleaned. Only now I don't want to get it dirty!

Yeah I know, never had much luck with it. I've had trouble with TechWax 2 and today I tried an old bottle of Colour Magic Wax we had. When I help my Dad do his cars, it comes off easy as anything, not for me though

Get some pre wax cleanser. I use autoglym HD wax and its fairly tough to apply and buff out but its worth it!

Never mind torn, it blew mine clean away last week, wrecked it! Luckily Mini was elsewhere or it would have been respray time :S

Exhaust bobbins have both snapped clean off! Only a max 14months old, luckily a tab on the subframe stopped the exhaust falling off.
