Mine sometimes crunches badly into first! Only does it on first change of the day though

My old engine was on 100k with no major rebuild and no gearbox work at all - its just down to luck how long they last!

My 86000 mile 998 was going strong until the bearing supporting the 1st motion shaft in the transfer casing collapsed.
