Im the other way around Tarks. Comparatively of course. I find once I can get myself lined up a joint I can nail em out no worries.

Funny eh been tig welding for 8 years now.. Just changed jobs from a steel fabricator welder. I remember when starting on tig I found the feed the hardest part lol, tacking up came naturally. I have mig welded for over 20 years.

I think once you're going its fine. I do tend to not but enough power on on the foot pedal when starting the puddle though mind
