it was more an 80ies-90ies mod to fit wide tyres and 13" wheels, some went up to 14". Its more about retro look today.

True enough fella! I find the mini scene a tad unvaried sometimes in that respect. There's a lot of tasteless mods floating about.

It's because everybody's asking too much for a pile of rot with the excuse that they can be worth a lot of money when they're restored.

I'm not saying that yours is a pile of worthlessness but there are some...

Your right HarrysMini. I think my asking price for my 1988 city is fair based on whats there (good engine, reasonable shell etc) but in the current market us sellers are just not getting any bites. Some may choose to sell for too little in desperation. That is their choice and good look to the buyers getting a bargain (I have been on that end). Due to the current market I'm offering my Mini at a fabulous price! I can't afford to offer it at a ridiculous price. So maybe I will ha...

I feel my car is also at a reasonable price Algordo- a great condition shell (best un-restored I've seen on its original sills) good reliability etc, but hoepfully the right buyer will come along. I do not want to sell for a meagre price as the car is my pride and joy and has had a...

Hi guys. Just joined the forum after meaning to do so for some time. Currently working on 4 long term projects, three of which are of course Minis. Been working on Minis since the age of 9, and love their looks, ease to work on and performance. Thanks.
