same hear:( drive shaft bearings,hub,cones and brakes all gone on mine :( plus had to get it towed. not going to be a cheap xmas :/! don't you have another daily?

Yea, its gunna be a bit close for my bank account too :/ and no i dont, the mini is my daily driver, show car and weekend "blaster" all in one :P when it works its great, but it has spent way too much time in various garages or with bits of it disasembled on the driveway.

Just called up the garage its staying at to ask if there is any news/where is it at as it has been 3 weeks now. I got a rather half arsed / annoyed reply (cant work out which) saying that he hadnt started work on the gearbox yet, despite the engine coming out early last week. I gues it is quite a big job... but it does make me want to go round there and start ranting about getting a move on!!
