Went out yesterday to clean off all the snow off my Mini, but within a few hours it was back to this:

So cleaned it all off again, and it stayed pretty snow free for the rest of the night:

Also forgot to tell you all, that I found an old picture of one of my Dads old Minis:

I really do like them alloys, and he said back then they cost him £200.

Then as I got sat down inside it, I realised theat some of the melted snow had found its way into the car:

Its ok though, its coming in through the door seals, I've been meaning to get some new ones for a while.
So decided to get the heater out of the car today and give it a flush through with some clean water, but didn't really seem blocked, so it must be one of the pipes, but I'm going to get some new silicone ones anyway.

Also I was tidying behind the dash, and I came across this strange wire again, does anyone know what it is?:

It leads to the righ air vent, then up alone the drivers door, it has never been connected to anything, so for the mean time I am just going to roll it up and keep it out the way.
Again it was too dark to take pictures when I had finished, so will post them up tomorrow.

Yes I know it is a mess, and I know it doesn't look like I did much, but getting that heater out was a bit more difficult than I thought.
I also got all of the rubbish out from behind the dash and it was looking in good nick:

I wanted to give this a quick respray to keep it nice and tidy.
And that is all I did on it yesterday

Then covered the area in paper and gave it a few coats of primer:

Then gave it a few coats of black paint, but ran out, and could have done with another layer, but looks the part:

Then a few coats a laquar, and looks the bees knees:

Just need to wait for it to fully dry then will take the paper off, will probably do that on Tuesday.
Then I moved onto the parcel shelf thing, it had two speakers in it which I didn't like, I just want a plain one, so took that out:

And I ended up with these hanging around now:

These are really good quality, and will probably be popping up in the for sale section soon.
Then this is how I left it today:

Me and Dad just seem to think it is just some condensation.
Pulled up all of the paper, and I am really happy with the way the paint has turned out

Its not the best finish, but noone will really notice it as it will be under the seats, but it looks a bit more tidy now. And I have now moved onto the rear bins, as they are all scratched up, and doing them just adds to the tidiness of the car
