Just cut up a K&N sticker, and stuck it on my air filter:



What do you all think?

After finding them small holes in the body work, I decided to get some supplies from Halfords:



Some fibre glass, two tins of wax oil and some kurust (I thought it was something else, but I think it works the same )

The I decided to clean the areas that needed attention up with a wire wheel, but that just uncovered more :





It was only a matter of time before I found something that wasn't pleasent, but to be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be .

So put some kurust over the areas:



It turns the rust black/blue .

The on the inside I did the same, and then put some wax oil everywhere :





And then tomorrow or the weekend, I'll put some fibre glass over them, then stone chip the arches, and inside the bins .

Also a package came today, I think it was the subframes, so I will have to go and collect them from the depot tomorrow or Saturday .

Cool cool, I was lucky enough to have the bloke before me doing some patching on those bad spots! still a couple left but I'll deal with those, nice work mate.

When I got home from work today, there was an envelope containing:



More free stickers , from K&N.

Then I decided to go out and do some work on the mini.

I decided to get a bit more done with them nasty holes. I wanted to get all the loose cr*p off from the wheel arch, so got my drill and wire wheel out, I was hoping that it wasn't going to reveal anything, but it did , so I treated them:





Then put two coats of stone chip in the arch:





After I have out the fibre glass on, I'll give it one last thick coat, them move onto the other arch, not really sure what to expect when I move onto that one , hopefully it wont be bad.

Also gave the subframe a bit of a coat :



I aslo coated the rear bins with stonechip too .

It started to rain as I was just finishing the last coat, so decided to pack away before it got any worse, but I have to wait for the stone chip to dry before I could put the fibre glass on anyway | , so hopefully will get that done tomorrow . Hopefully going to collect that package in a bit, I think it is my subframes , will post pictures up of it later anyway .

Just as I was about to leave to go and get that package, a van pulled up, and it was the package I was going to collect , weird I know, been as I phoned them yesterday telling them I was going to collect it, so don't bother trying again , but saved me petrol anyway .

Oh and it was the subframes:





Might dummy fit one of them at the weekend, and fit it into the mini to see how it fits and looks .

The Cobra ones I got cheap , and yer, fibre glass over the holes , was kind of hoping not to find anything, but better finding it now rather than later when its worse .

gonna be nice to see that arch holes fixed i found 3 holes in my roof today so i may have found where the water was gettin in lol but least its got no bubbles now
