lol oh well

i had the same problem once and just cleaned the contacts and my rear lights worked again lol

Now its gone all ******* up again , I just went to test everything again, and they are not working again , I don't understand. The only thing that works, but didn't last time is the flash .

It weird, I had everything working again, turned the ignition off, then it didn't work again, so took the reverse light switch off, cleaned it up, put it back on, and everything worked again, turned the ignition off, and nothing works again, what could it be ?

A bad joint or poor earth. Everytime you move the loom it's making/breaking. Try wiggling the loom to narrow it down to an area.

try gettin some electrical cleaner spray stuff and attacking the points on the fuse holder etc

Well I've basically come in now, not the happiest of people at the moment . The only things that arn't working now are the indicators, rear demister and reverse light. They seem to work every now and again. The wipers work now, it seems like the motor was jammed or something . And I've also worked out that the three things that arn't working are also part of the same circuit. So the fault is between them somewhere. Anyway, I will more than likley just go over all the connection again and make sure everything is connected right, and connectors are clean, etc, yay more work .

Well today, more electrics , and the outcome...everything now works , noob mistake . Anyway, moving on, I have decided to start my engine rebuild next weekend. I have decided to do this as the rebuild will be a steady process and can be something running in the background while I get on with my mini. But now the electrics are sorted, the interior is not far away from copletion , I hope .

Not done a lot today, just cleaned all the rubbish out of the mini and boot ready to fit the new suspension components , and started fitting a bit of soundproofing .

deffo got my handbrake workin now and the cars running tons better since the new fuel pump and the redex shot

and the new shocks show what it should be like

first purchases when i get payed are 2 more shocks, new tyres and possibly some other toys
