I've got to do the wiring on Ratty soon, can't decide whether to use the old loom
or make my own as I am going to do away with quite a few electrical parts !!

I would make your own to be honest, there are so many colours and so many are the samelol, I never know which wire I'm following lol.

It seems to be constantly live when the ignition is on, and its light green with a brown stripe down it, can anyone help?

That wire is the trigger connection for the Rev counter.
