Little more work done today, not much though as I got home from work late , but got tomorrow off, so will get some more done . Well, todays I mounted the internal boot release handle:





I'll paint over the bolts with some black spray paint, but I'm pretty happy with it as its nicely hidden, but not to far out of reach . So...tomorrow, I will take the seats out again, modify the subframes, probably put some more sound proofing down, and get the washer bottle hose routed to the boot, and then its mine and James birthday on Saturday , so will see what I get.

Is that the Micra release, looks good..

Yer it is , it does the job. I was going to make a proper bracket for it to go on, but the bolts washers, and nuts work just as well .

I'm not that far with it yet , I still need to get a new boot...well I suppose I could try and get it linked up to the present one. Atleast then it I mess the one I have on now up, it won't matter because I will be getting another .

Right, well quite a few updates to come. So I recieved these on Wednesday:



Some nice new rear rubber cones and some knuckle joint nylon cups . So hopefully these should be going on tomorrow, as James is over tonight as we are going out on the town, because its our birthday .

And Yesterday I got a lot done, first I started off by getting the seats out, and cutting down the subframes, so they would fit better:



Three became...:



...one . The I cleared all the rubbish out, and started to re-route the washer pipe:







Just waiting on a bracket from Mini Spares then I can wire and link everything up . The I started to put a bit more sound proofing down:



A bit on the rear seat, and:



A bit under the rear seat. I have decided not to have any rear seats now, and have a rear roll cage for show . And won't be doing anything today as its my birthday .

More going to be done tomorrow .

Well, havn't worked on the mini since Friday . Went over to James' yesterday, and did a bit on his, then went to pick up a dump valve a some pipe for his turbo conversion , might get some done tomorrow, but will get some done on Wednesday .

Nothing done today I'm affraid , not feeling too good, got a bad stomach , but some scotchbrite came:



Thats a good sign for some body work to come . So hopefully some more will get done tomorrow on the mini .
