Dropping in here as well. 1.2 dollars a few months ago and now its under a dollar. I remember 30cents per liter 10 years ago though.

Could you imagine... that's like 64ish pence a litre. I would drink it at that price.

I would say though, the price it is now is pretty much the lowest it has been since I have been driving. It is almost cheap enough now for me to start going on 'drives' for no apparent reason.
FUN TIMES! :)

Am sure it was about 65-70p when I started driving, and that was less than 5 years ago!!

Someone not so long ago on here posted a list of the average petrol prices for each year from about 20-30 years ago until now... they pretty mcuh went up on average at least 5-10p a year, year on year.

See if you can guess when I started driving - 4-star was just about 40p/litre and unleaded was a couple of pence cheaper!

It's not even fair, I was talking someone the other day who used to buy a gallon for his first motorbike and he used to get change from a pound! It was only a little 90cc so he could ride it all day with his mates on the gallon for a quid and then spend the second pound on fuel for the rest of week to get him to college and back :P ... he had a job to pay for bits other than petrol... but I mean I can only dream of getting to college and back all week for a quid  :P
