How do I know all this? it is my car! Everybody says that you can`t get big power from injection on a 5 port head, look on www.canems.co.uk for the full spec and video etc

I think SPI may be the way to go to be honest, just need to know what parts to fit etc.

HI, To get the full package on what is needed for a 998, 1098,1275, 1330, 1380 the best man to talk to is Dave@ www.canems.co.uk. He can supply you with almost everything you need for your set up. It depends on what spec of engine you are running now as to what size injectors are req`d etc, if you used the same as on my engine you would probably drown it, and the pilot light would go out. I had 134bhp before injection, but it has much more torque in the mid-range than it had before, and you can feel the difference thro the gears, it pulls stronger all the way thro. Mid range on mine is 4500-8000rpm!! What are you going to use it for? If I thrash mine thro the range and hold it flat out at 8000 or more it will drink .75 litres a minute!! Thats 1 gallon every 6 minutes!! not for cruising around in.

SPI or MPI would be doable I reckon. I don't see why Mems wouldn't adjust itself to suit - it would just be like driving a 1275 on part throttle or at high altitude to the sensors. You'd probably be best off with a dead SPI or MPI to pinch all the bits off. The crank & cam sensors being the most involved to swap across.

Hmm I like the idea, I will have a look into the sensors, perhaps I may well be able to get away with a 998 head, I suppose I would need to try it.
