Only 3 Ways to get 1.

1.) Hold NVQ in Mechanics
2.) Work for car main Dealer workshop
3.) know the manager very well.

As for benefits.

well most things are a little bit cheaper few pence on some things almost a quid off of spray paint.

but the best thing i have found is car batterys are almost half the marked price!

it really depends on the product. and there no good for accessorys, you cannot use it for ICE, Wheels ECT..

hope that helps :shifty:

I've heard Halfords batteries are banana anyway, even if they are half price. I need a new jack, how much could I get off one of those? :shifty:

wipersets = shelf price, 15 odd quid trade price = a fiver
disks (for a mini) -shelf 25, trade 12 ish
bulbs - super high brilliance ones= 20 each, 10 trade..
sidelights, pence
oil - 20 on the shelf, 10 trade

i find it cheaper for most things than the loal central autos, though halfords dont hold the range of parts... great for sevice items i find..

Best discount is on Halfords own tools (up to 60% on some) , but my best buy so far was an oil filter for 1.30 :shifty:

You can get discount on quite a few things. There are some things which are excempt like welders for instance.

To get a trade card, I would pretend to work in a garage. They may ask you for a payslip from said garage, which, if you know how to work google you will have no problems finding said "payslip"..................

Some stores will want you to sign for the card, so watch out if you dont have it with you.
