cheers dom! made it allllll by my self!!

anyone know how to refit a boot liner?? finally finished covering mine this morn and after it being out for about 8 months, i cant remember how to put it back in and iv lost the instructions! it's one of the ones made by roberts, dont know if that helps? if noone knows ill contact him!

hey!
think they were about a tenner (if that) from a local motor shop near me, altho i know you can pick them up from any motor shop really!! and nope u dont have to re-wire anything, they jus pop straight into the orignal bulb holders!!

boot liner is finally in place! i took off the red carpet that was on it and re-covered it in the left over vynal from my door cards! looks quite smart! altho i know it's going to be pretty easy tp ruin, but i never use my boot that much anyways, so more jus for decoration lol!!





next up will be spraying the mirrors that are flying (being driven/posted) from robertw! (cheers muchly) gonna be spraying those the same colour as the roof!

any tips on spraying mirrors anyone??

oooooooh, quick funny story! well it made me smile anyway! was sat in the mini waiting for my sis to finish work the other night and a lil boy and his dad walked past my car and the lil boy said "dad look it sez short vehicle" so the dad walked back and had a look and was like "oh yea, so it does, well it is quite small isnt it?" and the little boy replied "its cool, i want one!" hehehehehe

jus had a little panic!!

just been out in the mini and noticed that it looked like i was running SUPER low on fuel, so i filled her up, and i was still runing SUPER low! it was only then that i realised that the fuel gauge wasn't working! i figured i must have knocked something yesterday when putting the boot liner in! so when i got home i took some bits of the boot liner out, and low and behold i had indeed knocked some bit of wire out of place, so i put it back on and..............it was fixed!!!!! wooyay! i fixed it myself! hehehehehe

babs made a ickle friend today...my friend came round yesterday with his mini, so here babs is with her friend!!



she's going back to the garage on monday to have her bodywork relooked at...for free hehehehe!

not been on for a while, been on teaching practise
not got much to update on either, babs has been back at the garage for a week now! last i heard was she'd been rubbed down ready to be sprayed, dont know what bits are being sprayed....im hoping the front end at least?!!
got the mirrors, however they're still white, due to me having no time to do anything at the mo!
update when i have something new to tell u lol!

k, not updated in a while been stupidly busy with finishing off uni etc etc! guess what.....she's still in the garage!! surprise surprise! lol!

he said he was going to a paint her on saturday (yesterday) when mum spoke to him on friday! and should be ready for picking up on tuesday (im stuck in lincoln till sat tho, so wont see her til then! he's got rid of all the rust (so he says)! but heyho, we'll wait and see.....will post new pictures when i have them!
