Yeah! I live near Scampton and drive to Burton Road and your baby was on route :( We look every morning now for a glimpse, it's sad but it makes my day!

I love the stars, well pretty much everything about your mini, it's a beauty!

My mini's off road at the mo, he's waiting for an alarm so I'm not so paranoid anymore! And for his smelly old man seats to dry out hehe.

;D

He has two spotlights now and a little bit more rust but getting that sorted at the mo. He has his name in the back window too, just so if he gets lost, everyone knows who he is! Hmm who needs kids when you have a mini  Say hello to Babs from Vern!

Take care :(

Might sound like a stupid question, but bumpers, are they the same for front and back?
just looking on minisports website at bumpers and they dont seem to specify front and rear bumpers, so i was just wondering!

cheers

Ok, so after lots of swearing, a couple of scratches and a half my nail ripped off ;D I gave up!!! lol! Was trying to put the new speakers in, firstly I replaced all the connections and put 'choccie blocks' in......that didnt work! So then I replaced all the wiring from the speakers to the head unit......that didnt work, so just as I was about to throw them out the window, I gave the local mini garage a ring and then said to pop down!!
Turns out, because the guy at Nottingham Mini Centre didn't remove the head unit when doing the respray and work, a lot of dust and C**p had got into the head unit. So much so, that when Jeff (Surf Blue mechanic - ace dude) shock my head unit, it rattled and lots of bits fell out.
You know how there meant to be four channels on a head unit, because so many bits got inside it 'shorted' and now only one works, so Jeff has done something magical to it which means I'm now running the two speakers of the one channel. But.......if I want to put my other two speakers, upfront, I've got to get a new head unit :P

Question is.........Mum thinks I should mention this to Nottingham Mini Centre because he didn't take out the head unit when working on it and as a result I need a new head unit!! Or is it my fault because I didn't take the head unit out before taking it to him?????

Will post pics of speakers in place in a bit!

true true!!

nah im not having much luck at all at the mo! lol! today i notcied some paint bubbling as well, which shouldnt be there if he had prepped it properly!

another point my mum just made is.......surely it's his fault because he knew to take the lights out etc so he should have taken the head unit out??
