not sure what all the fuss in about. if the OP wants to fit power steering then thats up to him.

If it would meen being able to get my power down without zig zaggy down the road I could be tempted to fit it! Lol
I think the pro's could outweigh the cons, when the power of the engine it too much for standard steering to cope with.

Yes have a look at the FAQ sticky on 16v already posted, it tells you everything you need to know! Its been made up to help people so you dont have to guess or do much research of your own, i was one of the people who requested it to be made up as i kept getting PMs asking about it. The options in the sticky are going to be the cheapest option rather than these specialist kits that have been made up.
Its down to personally preference, you can turn the electric systems off and its adjustable so its not like you have to have really light steering, and you can turn it off if you only want the system for parking etc.
